Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences

The Virtual Reality Laboratory (VR Lab) was established in 2023 with the support of our university for the Scientific Research Project (BAP) conducted by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Murat GÜLMEZ in 2022. The laboratory is located on the floor of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences (E Block), next to the Finance Laboratory in the corridor where the classrooms are located.

The laboratory is used to conduct research and scientific studies on the use of virtual reality and metaverse technologies in education. In addition, VR Lab is used as a supporting laboratory in the metaverse technology courses given at our faculty.

In addition to scientific studies and research, the laboratory is also introduced to students, faculty members and guests coming from abroad and offers the opportunity to experience this technology. In addition, various events are held with virtual reality glasses for company managers during company visits to our university and possible collaborations are discussed.
