Waste treatment and recycling activities are major factors in creating a sustainable environment. The activities of university staff, students, and communities around university produce a lot of waste; therefore, some recycling and waste treatments programs should be among the concern of the university, i.e., 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) program, organic waste treatment, inorganic waste treatment, toxic waste recycling, sewage disposal, policies to reduce the use of paper and plastic on campus:

By adopting the "Zero Waste Directive" in July 2022, Çağ University Collection of waste generated as a result of activities carried out in academic and administrative units, Sustainable development in separation, recycling and disposal processes Aiming to protect the environment, human health and all resources in line with the principles of Establishment, dissemination, development and implementation of the Zero Waste Management System Procedures and principles regarding monitoring have been determined.
