Programme Profile |
International Trade and Marketing Thesis/Non-Thesis Master's Programme offers students basic skills such as cultural awareness, effective communication, strategic thinking, market research and analysis. Additionally, it helps students gain a competitive advantage in the business world by providing in-depth knowledge and practice-based training on subjects such as supply chain management, international marketing strategies, financial information and management, juridical knowledge, and practice. This programme also supports students to achieve success in global markets by strengthening them in areas such as innovation, relationship management and risk management. The goal of the programme is to train students as modern and competitive professionals specialized in international trade and marketing. |
Learning Environment |
Education and training are carried out in a formal way. Since our technological facilities are sufficient, distance education method is also partially implemented. In addition, applied training is provided through research centers etc. units within the university. |
Programme Outputs (Competencies) |
A student who completes the programme: PO 1: will be able to communicate effectively and professionally in different business environments. PO 2: will be able to use modern management tools and techniques against different managerial problems. PO 3: will be able to perform business management functions such as accounting, finance, marketing, management, human resources and production concepts and models in organizations and establish relationships between them. PO 4: will be able to evaluate the potential effects of economic conditions on the business and make appropriate decisions to cope with these conditions. PO 5: will be able to coordinate management functions such as planning, organization, management, and control in different business environments. PO 6: will be able to demonstrate effective leadership behavior in different business environments. PO 7: will be able to follow trends in international markets and analyze their potential impact on managerial decisions. PO 8: will be able to use appropriate motivation techniques in various work environments. PO 9: will be able to apply appropriate decision-making processes in organizations. |

Assessment and Evaluation Methods |
Assessment and evaluation methods; exam types and their contribution to the course success grade, the provisions of Çağ University Graduate Education and Examination Regulations and the Senate decisions are determined. Different methods such as homework, term paper, project, practice, midterm exam and final exam are used in assessment and evaluation. Letter and/or number-based grading systems are used to evaluate student success. |

In order to monitor the quality of higher education programmes; - The Council of Higher Education is responsible for the planning, organization, management and supervision of education, training and other activities carried out in higher education institutions. - "University Monitoring and Evaluation Reports" of higher education institutions, prepared every year within the framework of the criteria determined by The Council of Higher Education, are published. Reports prepared according to these criterias, containing quantitative and qualitative evaluations for higher education institutions, are also shared with the public by The Council of Higher Education. - ‘’The Foundation Higher Education Institutions Report", which includes academic, administrative, and financial data of foundation higher education institutions, is published every year by The Council of Higher Education. Admission Requirements |
A student who wants to study in the International Trade and Marketing Thesis/Non-Thesis Master's Programme must have completed a four-year undergraduate programme in any department at a domestic or international equivalent university and must receive a score of at least 55 from the Academic Personnel and Graduate Education Entrance Exam. Qualification Requirements |
In order for a student to graduate, his/her General Grade Point Average (GPA) must be at least 2.00 out of 4.00 and he/she must not have failed courses. Access To Further Studies |
Students who successfully complete the Thesis Master's Degree can apply to doctoral programmes if they wish. |
