Qualification Awarded |
The students who have successfully completed the program will be awarded with a Doctorate Diploma in English Language Teaching. |

Specific Admission Requirements |
Students who have completed master’s degree studies in the field of ELT or Applied Linguistics or other related may apply for admission. The students must have at least 55 points from ALES (or its equivalent, e.g. GRE). The students will also take a written and oral exam that shows their qualification in the field. |
Specific Arrangements For Recognition Of Prior Learning |
Students who have been studying at other universities may transfer to Cag University programs. Students are exempted from courses they have passed providing that the courses have the same content. |
Qualification Requirements And Regulations |
A student is required to have a minimum CGPA of 3.00/4.00 and no failing grades. |

The ELT Doctorate Program is designed to equip the candidates with high level of theoretical and practical knowledge on their field. Candidates are also expected to be equipped with independent research skills |

Graduates have opportunity to work in public or private institutions as English instructors at different levels and as academicians at various universities. |

Graduates may apply to post-graduate programs. |
Examination Regulations, Assessment And Grading |
The examination regulations are specified for each course. However, generally, there is one mid-term exam, one final exam and a project for each course. See the details for the exam regulations, assessment and grading for each course in the Course Structure Diagram as stated in the Rules and Regulations of Cag University. |
Graduation Requirements |
The graduation requirements for the Program are as the same as the general qualification requirements and regulations of Çağ University. There is no additional requirement to secure the Doctorate Degree provided that the students have passed all the courses in the curriculum with at least a CC grade and had a cumulative gross point average of at least 3.00 out of 4.00. |
