GENERAL INFORMATIONS
Çağ University Library was established in 1997 to provide all kinds of information and documents needed by the university’s faculty members, students, administrative staff, alumni, and other researchers for educational, teaching, and leisure activities, and to organize and make them available for use in a specific system.
In line with the university’s mission and vision, the library aims to meet all the information needs of its users. It plays an active role in fostering an active and participatory education and in helping students develop the habit of independent research.
The library aims to support the teaching and research programs of our university, meet the information and document needs of faculty, students, and staff in all forms and environments, collect the best information sources for research, and provide the most suitable environment for utilizing these resources. Located within the Information and Technology Center, which covers an area of 10,000 m² and has 5,876.37 m² of indoor space, our library has a seating capacity for 1,727 people across the entrance, mezzanine, upper, and terrace floors.
Our library's collection includes 61,000 printed books, around 805,000 e-books, 807 titles of printed journals in alphabetical order from A to Z, 1,300 e-journals, approximately 200,000 full-text articles, 25,000 archive issues, and around 500 audiovisual (multimedia) information sources.
