Space Observation Application and Research Center
Located within Çağ University Space Observation and Research Center, our planetarium is still the first and only one among the foundation universities. Planetarium has started trial shows during March 2010 and continues to perform regularly after the official inauguration in October 2011. Films supplied in relation to space can be watched by our students, instructors, staff and special guests also.
New and modern telescope purchases have been made to monitor objects in space. The students and teachers from the schools in the region and the personnel of the institutions can visit our space center. The planetarium has been visited more than 10,000 students and teachers from Mersin, Tarsus, Adana and other neighboring cities so far.
It is open on weekdays and free of charge, with an appointment system.
