Setting & Infrastructure
The campus setting and infrastructure information provides the basic information about the university’s policy on green environment. The indicators also show whether the campus deserves to be called a Green University. The aim is to encourage the participating universities to provide more spaces for greenery and safeguard the environment.
As the number of students, teaching staff, and administrative personnel increased, the number of buildings and classrooms also grew. Çağ University, which began its educational activities with a single building that is still known as the Rectorate Building, acquired its second building by the end of the 1998-99 Academic Year, which currently houses the Faculty of Arts and Sciences and the Preparatory School. In the 2003-2004 Academic Year, the university built its third building, which accommodates the Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences. In the 2005-2006 Academic Year, the Amfi Plaza was constructed, and the capacity of the amphitheater was increased to 1,000 people. In the 2007-2008 Academic Year, a modern "Information and Technology Center" with an area of 4,500 m² was built, which includes computer laboratories and additional offices. Computer laboratories, the Social Sciences Institute, Internet usage areas, and the Library were relocated to their new spaces in this center.
