INTERNATIONAL TRADE AND LOGISTICS

LEARNING OUTCOMES

1. Has command of theories and principles related to international trade and logistics and can question these theories and principles with a critical approach.

2. Has basic knowledge of business science.

3. Has knowledge of basic economics and economic geography required by the field of international trade and logistics.

4. Has the ability to define basic concepts, functions and problems related to international trade and logistics management, considering the strategic priorities of the country.

5. Has knowledge of warehousing, inventory management and transportation.

6. Has knowledge of insurance and risk management. Knows payment and delivery methods in international trade.

7. Takes responsibility as an individual and a group member to solve complex and unforeseen problems encountered in practice.

8. Expresses information, opinions and suggestions verbally and in writing and uses English at the European Language Portfolio B1 General Level.

9. Uses the information acquired and produces optimal solutions in the face of problems, in cooperation with other professional groups.

10.Has scientific systematics and ethical values ​​in the stages of collecting, interpreting, announcing and implementing relevant data.

11.Uses necessary information and communication technologies.

12.Has knowledge of packaging and value-added services.

13.Has awareness of occupational health and safety, social responsibility and environmental protection.

14.Takes part in social responsibility projects to raise public awareness of social justice, environmental issues and sustainable development goals, while respecting basic human rights.

7. Questions the basic functions of the business such as marketing, production, human resources, accounting and finance, research & development and management and the dynamics between these functions,

8. Coordinates the planning, organizing, execution and control functions of business management,

9. Solves problems with analytical and creative approaches in changing business conditions.
