Program Profile |
The Health Care Management Master's Program is designed to enable students to develop a strong theoretical background and gain practical skills in the field of contemporary management in hospitals. The program also aims to help students gain leadership, management or entrepreneurship skills in public and/or private sector hospitals. |
Learning Environment |
Education and training are carried out in a formal way. Since our technological facilities are sufficient, distance education method is also partially implemented. In addition, research centers etc. within the University. Practical training is provided through units. |
Program Outcomes (Competencies) |
A student who successfully completes the Health Care Management Master's Program; PO 1. Have the ability to apply different leadership styles in different situations in hospitals. PO 2. Can develop and apply the most appropriate motivation techniques by determining motivation needs for different environments in different departments of hospitals. PO 3. Can detect and analyze problems in hospitals and develop solution methods. PO 4. Can develop and implement the most appropriate decision-making processes within the organizational structure. PO 5. Can apply the most appropriate contemporary management concepts and techniques to different managerial problems. PO 6. Understands and analyzes the possible effects of economic developments on hospitals and can make the most appropriate decisions for these situations. PO 7. Can develop and apply contemporary human resources management concepts and techniques. PO 8. Able to evaluate the financial situation of hospitals by analyzing financial statements. PO 9. Monitors the developments in international markets regarding hospitals and evaluates their effects on the hospital. |

Measurement and Evaluation Methods |
1. Measurement and evaluation methods; Exam types and their contribution to the course success grade are determined by the provisions of Çağ University Graduate Education and Examination Regulations and Senate decisions. 2. Different methods such as homework, project, practice, midterm exam and final exam are used in measurement and evaluation. 3. Letter and/or number-based grading systems are used to evaluate student success. |
Quality Assurance |
In order to monitor the quality of higher education programs;
- YÖK is responsible for the planning, organization, management and supervision of education, training and other activities carried out in higher education institutions. - "University Monitoring and Evaluation Reports" of higher education institutions, prepared every year within the framework of the criteria determined by YÖK, are published. Reports prepared according to these reports, containing quantitative and qualitative evaluations for higher education institutions, are also shared with the public by YÖK. - Every year, the "Foundation Higher Education Institutions Report" is published by YÖK, which includes academic, administrative and financial data of foundation higher education institutions. These reports, which include quantitative and qualitative evaluations of foundation higher education institutions, are shared with the public by YÖK. |
Entry Conditions |
A student who wants to study in the Health Care Management Master's Program must have completed a four-year law undergraduate program in the law department at a domestic or international equivalent university and must have received at least a score of 55 from ALES. |
Conditions for Gaining the Qualification |
In order for a student to graduate, his/her General Grade Point Average (GPA) must be at least 2.00 out of 4.00 and he/she must not have failed courses. |
Advancement Opportunities |
Graduates of the Health Care Management Master's Program can find jobs as senior managers in hospitals in the public and private sectors, in the administrative units of health-related non-governmental organizations and other similar organizations, or they can pursue an academic career. They are employed as assistant specialists and managerial candidates in the Ministry of Health and its affiliated organizations, the Social Security Institution and other public hospitals and organizations. He works at various administrative levels in private hospitals and private health institutions. Apart from these organizations, graduates also have job opportunities in pharmaceutical companies, businesses trading medical devices and materials, and private health insurance organizations. |
