1 The competition is open to preparatory, associate, and undergraduate students of Çağ University for the 2024-2025 academic year.
2 A student can participate in the competition with only 1 (one) story (Co-authored stories cannot participate in the competition).
3 The theme of the story is free, there are no restrictions.
4 The story must be written in 11-point, "Times New Roman" font with 1.5 line spacing and should not exceed 700 words.
5 Stories with spelling, punctuation errors, those that do not follow grammatical rules, and those exceeding the word count will be disqualified from evaluation.
6 To apply, the application form provided in the announcement must first be filled out, printed, and signed. The printed form should then be scanned and sent by email to yaraticiyazarlik@cag.edu.tr along with your short story text as an attachment. If the signed printed application form is not sent with the story, the submitted story will not be evaluated.
7 The final submission deadline for the competition is Friday, May 9, 2025. Stories sent after the application deadline will not be considered for evaluation.
8 Stories submitted on time and in accordance with the rules will be evaluated by the selection jury. The awards for the top three students whose stories are selected will be presented in a ceremony on Monday, June 13, 2025.
9 The selection committee will award prizes to the 3 stories it deems appropriate and may also give an honorable mention to a successful story if deemed worthy.
10 Stories entered into the competition must not have been awarded in any previous competition, must not have been written by someone else, must not be copied in part or whole from another text, and must not have been published anywhere before.
11 The copyright of the participating stories belongs to the author, and with their permission, the stories may be published in Çağ University's Magazine and on the University website.
12 If students with disabilities wish to participate in the event, our special units will provide assistance and support.
13 The stories will be evaluated by the designated jury. As a result of the evaluation, the first prize will be 15,000 TL, the second prize 10,000 TL, and the third prize 7,000 TL.
