ENGLISH TRANSLATION AND INTERPRETING PROGRAM
Goal: To meet the need for well-equipped translators arising from the intercultural and inter-country mobility created by the developing global economy.
Objectives:
a) Being able to use not only Turkish but also English language at a high level in all four skills (Speaking, Listening, Reading, Writing) and using a different language of their own choice at an advanced level,
b) Achieving general knowledge and culture levels in different disciplines,
c) Being able to know translation theory, principles and techniques and apply them in various texts,
d) Being able to use information and translation technologies effectively,
e) Enabling students to specialize in a branch of translation according to their own skills.
