IFN-103 Financial Essentials

The aim of this course is to inform the students about the basic concepts of finance and to provide them with knowledge on issues such as savings, access to financial resources, the use of the resources obtained and their transformation into investments that they may need both in their private and business lives. Students taking this course will have the necessary knowledge for the selection of financial instruments used in daily life.


MAT-101 Mathematics for Business

This course is an introduction to mathematics and business science. Topics include real number systems, inequalities, functions and graphical representations of functions, linear equations, linear method equations, least squares method, linear functions, linear cost, revenue and profit functions, breakage analysis, quadratic functions, exponential and logarithmic functions..


TUR-101 Turkish I

The aim of the course is to teach students the rules of Turkish language. Thus, students will be able to explain themselves clearly and efficiently. Panel discussions, symposiums, conferences, etc. techniques are discussed within the scope of the development of listening skills in this course. Within the scope of oral and written expression studies, students are taught presentation, novel, story, essay, poetry, composition, magazine, newspaper review and applications, book introductions, spelling and punctuation marks, elements of the sentence, sentence types, expression disorders, written expression types, thought writings, oral expression types and prepared and unprepared speaking activities are carried out.


UNI-101 Introduction to University Life

The Introduction to University Life course covers the social-cultural-academic aspects of Çağ University and university life for newly enrolled students and the adaptation of students to university life.


FLE-103 Vocational English I

This course aims to enable students to expand their vocabulary for business life by creating unique contexts consisting of new words, phrases, and conversations, to structure their language knowledge by providing understandable language input during the semester, and to improve their reading and listening skills.


MAN-105 Business

The main objective of this course is to teach students philosophy, concepts and practical tools of starting and managing a business. To achieve these outcomes, the course covers topics such as risk taking and profit making in a dynamic business environment, how the economy affects business, doing business in global markets, ethical and socially responsible behavior, types of business ownership, and business management.


OSD-131 Financial Literacy

The Financial Literacy course aims to provide students with the skills to understand financial issues, manage individual and family finances, and develop general financial awareness. This course covers topics such as personal finance management, borrowing, savings, investing, retirement planning and risk management. It also offers students the opportunity to develop critical thinking and analytical skills when making financial decisions.


OSD-135 Volunteering Activities

This course, within the framework of the concept of volunteering, aims to enable students to gain awareness about various issues and problems by using the knowledge, skills, and knowledge they have acquired throughout their educational lives, and to develop human, social, cultural and moral values and skills through various volunteer activities in which they will participate. In line with this purpose, the aim is to ensure that students take part in volunteer work throughout the semester in a volunteer area they will create themselves, within the scope of a plan to be prepared in advance and share their results.


OSD-139 Communication Skills

The Communication Skills course aims to develop students' effective communication skills. This course includes oral and written communication, listening skills, non-verbal communication, and effective communication strategies. It helps students communicate more successfully in their personal and professional lives.


OSD-141 Health Literacy

The aim of this course is to increase students' level of health-related knowledge and skills, and to increase their competence in decisions about basic health concepts, diseases, healthy lifestyle behaviors and access to health services. In addition, by providing information about basic health rights, our aim is to support students in making informed decisions about health and adopting a healthy lifestyle.


OSD-153 Financial Colors

This course aims to teach what financial and economic indicators mean through colors. In addition, in this course, it is aimed to explain the factors affecting credit rating agencies, countries' CDS premiums, stock markets and stock markets, especially financial management issues.


OSD-149 Conflict Management

The aim of this course is to provide an overview of the perspectives, actors and tools in the field of conflict management in order to manage power and political interactions among individuals, groups and employees within organizations in today's changing business conditions; to effectively solve the problems that may arise and to understand the dynamics of conflict management, and to provide the skills to effectively manage individual and organizational conflicts.


OSD-147 Eco-Friendly Social Service

The primary objective of the Eco-Friendly Social Service course is to enable students to develop an innovative approach that integrates environmental sustainability and social well-being. This course aims to equip students with an understanding of how to better serve the needs of communities while addressing environmental challenges. Students will be introduced to various methods, policies, and practices to develop skills in effective use of natural resources, development of environmental protection strategies, and pursuit of social justice. This course aims to equip students with leadership skills in the field of green social work, simultaneously supporting both environmental and social well-being.


OSD-155 Global Health Debates

This course will examine the causes and consequences of globalization and its impact on health policies. Additionally, topics directly related to health will be examined, such as the international spread of infectious diseases, global financing structures for healthcare systems, the role of the pharmaceutical industry in the global market, drug use in Turkey and globally, social determinants of health, digital health technologies, environmental threats, and migration.

To train registered students of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences departments who have successfully completed the Orientation I course in a way that will enable them to grow as individuals equipped with knowledge, skills, and competencies in line with the needs and expectations of the contemporary and competitive international business world. In this context, it is planned to support students with training, projects and assignments that allow them to start their career planning from the right place.


MAT-102 Statistics for Business

This course introduces students to many applications of descriptive and inferential statistics in international finance, international trade, tourism and hotel management and other business fields.


TUR-102 Turkish II

Giving theoretical and practical information about rhetoric, spelling rules, punctuation marks and composition, which enable emotions and thoughts to be expressed in a purposeful and harmonious manner.


ECO-104 Economics

The aim of this course is to teach students the basic concepts of microeconomics and macroeconomics. Economic problems encountered in daily life, supply and demand; Topics such as price determination and market equilibrium, flexibility, production and cost concepts, market structures, economic inequality, economic growth, GDP and measurement of economic growth will be explained.

This course covers vocabulary words and structures related to business life. The aim is to familiarize students with the language used in the business sector and to develop their ability to read and understand articles or writings related to business..

HIS-201 Ataturk's Principles and History of Revolution I

In this course, the establishment, rise, decline and collapse of the Ottoman Empire, the causes and consequences of the First World War, the preparation, conduct and results of the War of Independence, Ataturk's principles and reforms are explained and students are expected to define the basic topics. At the same time, "Ataturk's Principles and History of Revolution", that is, "Ataturkism", is discussed and especially the content of the "Ataturk’s Thought System" is included.


IFN-201 International Financial Markets I

The aim of the course is to provide students with detailed information about international financial markets. Topics such as multinational corporations, foreign direct investment, arbitrage, the law of one price, economic factors affecting the exchange rate, central bank interventions in foreign exchange markets, international monetary systems, parity conditions and exchange rate forecasting methods are explained in order to introduce students to international economic relations and to give them the ability to interpret them.


LAW-201 Law I

In this lesson, the function of law in society, comparison of the rule of law with religious, traditional and moral rules, distinction between public law and private law, legal relations and the concept of legal rights, types of rights, right holders and types, legal rights, acquisition, loss and protection of legal rights, legal operations and processes are explained.


FLE-203 Vocational English III

This course has been prepared to significantly improve students' oral and written communication skills in technical areas and report presentation. At the end of the course, students will have learned how to give advice in formal and informal ways, the use of indefinite pronouns, expressing past habits, expressing a request in a formal way, the difference in usage of noun verbs, passive sentence structure and usage.


MAN-203 Principles of Accounting

This course focuses on how companies prepare financial statements within the accounting process, teaches accounting for transactions, especially for current and non-current assets, and enables students to apply the accounting rules and principles required to obtain financial statements as is done in practice. Students are encouraged to make an overall assessment after the preparation of financial statements.


OSD-203 Sociology of Family

Topics such as the formation of family and family types, changes in family structure with industrialization, intra-family relations (power and authority relations within the family, horizontal and vertical communication in family relations), gender and the value of the child in different societies are discussed. In addition to family structures in different societies; The transformations that occurred in family structures throughout the historical process are examined comparatively. Problematic issues such as domestic inequality, violence, sexual abuse, divorce, single-parent families, stepparents, spouse preferences are discussed and resolved within the scope of the course.


OSD-205 Disadvantaged Groups

The aim of this course is to inform students taking the elective course about groups and communities that are disadvantaged in society due to various social problems. The main focus of the course is to address social problems affecting society such as poverty, disability, old age, gender inequality, disasters, migrations, crime, addiction, and to examine disadvantaged groups that need special needs in society depending on these problems.


OSD-209 Social Responsibility Project

The Social Responsibility Project course offers students the opportunity to plan, implement and evaluate projects addressing social problems in their own communities or around the world, in order to contribute to meeting social needs. This course aims to develop students' empathy, leadership, communication, and collaboration skills. At the same time, it increases students' sensitivity to social problems by addressing issues such as sustainability, environmental awareness, and ethical responsibility. The Social Responsibility Project course aims to educate students as active and responsible citizens while providing them with the skills to benefit society and promote social change. This course helps them understand the value of social responsibility and develop skills in executing effective projects.


OSD-211 Understanding Economics Through Numbers

In this course, it is aimed to explain the basic concepts of microeconomics and macroeconomics to students with numerical examples. Understanding the economic problems encountered in daily life, the importance of supply and demand, basic information on the price system, balance, production and production costs and market structures and gross domestic product calculations, economic growth, employment/unemployment, inflation, economic stability, and economic policies (fiscal and monetary policies) are the topics that will be discussed in this course.


OSD-213 Critical Thinking and Social Sciences

When social phenomena/applications are examined/done with the approaches, assumptions and methods used by natural sciences, a misleading objective, scientific and impartial reality image is produced, and the phenomena/applications are accepted as existing in the outside world, even if they are wrong and incomplete. However, the social world is not a physical object that exists and is waiting to be discovered like the natural world, but a social reality that is affected by the individual (researcher or practitioner) and affects the individual, thus being created, and mutually constituted. In this regard, in order to explain and predict social reality, a critical review of the approaches, assumptions, and methods used to explain physical reality and the development of new approaches, assumptions, and methods that explain and predict social phenomena/practices within their specific social, historical, political, cultural, and economic contexts are required. needs to be introduced. OSD-215 Sustainability Literacy

The Sustainability Literacy course aims to enable students to understand and apply sustainable development principles at the global and local level. This course emphasizes the concept of sustainability, which includes environmental, economic, and social dimensions, and teaches students how to achieve sustainable development goals. Additionally, it raises awareness on issues such as social justice, environmental protection, resource management and economic development. While the Sustainable Development Studies course aims to develop students' sensitivity to global problems and provide them with the skills to cope with these problems, it strives to raise them as conscious leaders in protecting the welfare of future generations and the sustainability of the planet. This course helps students understand the importance of sustainable development and create comprehensive solutions.


OSD-225 Global Environmental Policies

This course examines the historical development and processes of environmental problems, collective policies, the role of individuals, international relations, and international cooperation. It also provides an accurate, current, and unbiased understanding of the world's environmental problems. Updated case studies on key issues such as climate change, endangered species, ozone depletion, desertification, whaling, hazardous waste, toxic chemicals, and biodiversity are intended to provide a detailed explanation of the ongoing evolution of environmental regimes.


OSD-219 Immigration and Refugee Law

The Immigration and Refugee Law course aims to understand the legal aspects of increasing global migration movements and analyze national and international legislation in this area. The course will cover the reasons for individual displacement, the definition of a refugee, the right to asylum, states' obligations, international protection mechanisms (especially the 1951 Geneva Convention and related protocols), and Turkey's migration policies and practices. The aim is to equip students with the skills to evaluate migration from a legal perspective and develop solutions to current problems in this area.


OSD-223 Sustainability and Our Seas: Blue Homeland

The "Sustainability and Our Seas: Blue Homeland" course aims to address the ecological, economic, and strategic importance of the seas within the framework of sustainability principles. Topics covered include the concept of the Blue Homeland, maritime jurisdictions, the protection of marine ecosystems, marine biodiversity, combating marine pollution, the impact of climate change on the seas, and the sustainable use of marine resources. This course aims to raise students' awareness of the importance of protecting our seas and ensuring their preservation for future generations, as well as to develop knowledge about sustainable marine policies.

LAW-202 Business Law II

The aim of this course is to give students information about commercial enterprise law and the concept of company. Classification of trading companies; ordinary, collective, limited partnership, limited and joint stock companies; The concept of negotiable instruments and the types of negotiable instruments regulated in the Turkish Commercial Code are some of the topics covered in this course.

MAN-204 Financial Accounting

MAN-220 Leadership and Organizational Behavior

This course aims to develop students' understanding of leadership theories and organizational behavior principles to enhance managerial effectiveness. Students will explore key leadership styles, motivation strategies, team dynamics, and decision-making processes within organizations. The course also examines the impact of organizational culture, communication, and changing management on employee performance and organizational success. IRE-228 International Economic Organizations

This course is a one- term optional course in economics. The aim of this course is to provide students with an understanding of how international organizations operate. The lectures will introduce theoretical concepts, conduct an extensive literature survey, and explore the ideas that underpin the study of international organizations. The course will particularly focus on the contemporary debate among realist, internationalist, and universalist approaches to analyzing these organizations. These perspectives will be used to examine the role of international organizations in promoting economic stability both at the national and international levels.

The World Geography Simulation course aims to help students explore geographical structures, climate conditions, natural disasters, and the impact of human activities on the environment in an interactive way. This French course aims to provide basic language skills for students new to French. ECO-305 Money and Banking

The course focuses on the functioning of the financial system, determination of money and interest rates, money supply, aims and tools of monetary policy, the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey, monetary theory, and monetary transmission mechanisms.


MAN-307 Business Finance

This course examines the effects of investment and financing decisions on firm value. In this context, the purpose and function of finance, the role and function of the finance manager, the function of financial markets, the time value of money, the cost of capital, capital budgeting, risk and return concepts, the financing function and the capital structure of the firm, profit distribution policies, such as the basic principles of Business Finance are covered with updated practical examples.


MAN-331 Contemporary Marketing Issues

The purpose of this course is to increase the student's knowledge and understanding of the basic principles and terminology of Marketing, and to gain the necessary practice in business life, thanks to the courses taken in the classroom.


ITL-313 Virtual Worlds

The course will be taught through Second Life, an online virtual environment through avatars. Students will see how the virtual environment works and evaluate the way virtual content is created. This lesson; students’ cultural differences, language barriers, time difference, technological problems, etc. It aims to teach students how to manage effective teamwork in a virtual and intercultural environment while dealing with many obstacles. This course will also provide the opportunity for collaboration and networking among participants and lecturers from different disciplines, institutions and cultures. Technological components of Virtual Worlds, ethical and social issues related to Virtual Worlds will be covered in this course. Thus, after one semester of study, students will be able to understand the role of Virtual Worlds today.


ITL-305 New Technologies for Business

The New Technologies for Business course aims to introduce current technologies used to enhance the competitiveness of businesses during the digital transformation process and to understand the integration of these technologies into business processes. The course will cover next-generation technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data, the Internet of Things (IoT), blockchain, cloud computing, and augmented and virtual reality. The application of these technologies to core business functions such as production, marketing, logistics, finance, and human resources will be evaluated. The aim is to provide students with a fundamental perspective on following technological developments and implementing them into business processes.


MAN-329 Customer Relationship Management

The Customer Relationship Management course aims to equip businesses with an understanding of the strategic importance of customer relationships in achieving competitive advantage and sustainable growth. This course covers topics such as analyzing customer needs and expectations, increasing customer satisfaction and loyalty, using customer data effectively, managing customer relationships in the digital age, and developing customer-focused marketing strategies. The French II course aims to develop students' communication skills by taking their French language skills from basic to advanced. This course reinforces reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills with a broader range of language structures and enriched vocabulary. By focusing on dialogues, short texts, and communication examples relevant to daily and business life, students are encouraged to express themselves more fluently and accurately. Furthermore, they are supported in using the language in context with information about French culture and traditions.


MAN-310 Financial Management

The aim of this course is to define the functions of finance and to calculate the basic analysis components. For this purpose, the relationship between finance and accounting, financial statements, analysis of financial statements, financial planning, the relationship between risk and return, making financing decisions using debt or equity, dividend distribution policies and working capital management are explained. At the end of the semester, it is aimed that students will be able to understand financial management functions and basic analysis.


IFN-312 International Banking

The aim of the course is to inform students about bank management within the framework of the rules and regulations of the international banking system. In this course, bank management, investment portfolio management, interest rate risk, credit risk, liquidity risk management and bank performance analysis will be examined.


IFN-314 E-Commerce

This course focuses on the relationship between technology and business so that students can have a comprehensive understanding of the basic terms, concepts and definitions related to electronic commerce. Basic topics such as e-commerce terms and concepts, e-markets, technological structure of e-commerce, e-supply chains, establishing and operating a successful electronic company and security will be taught to students.

This course examines the causes of social movements, their emergence conditions, their development, their effects on the globalization process and their results. Within the scope of the course, social movements taking place in various countries and regions are discussed together with their historical processes and background developments. In this regard, anti-globalization, anti-nuclearism, environmental movements and similar issues are among the topics to be discussed.


MAN-344 Social Media Marketing

Social Media Marketing Course aims to provide students with the skills to create digital marketing strategies and use social media platforms effectively. This course emphasizes students the role of social media in business and brand management and enables students to develop their ability to plan, implement and analyze social media marketing campaigns. At the same time, it provides students with information on topics such as target audience analysis, content production, advertising, measurement, and interaction strategies. The Social Media Marketing Course provides students with the skills to gain a competitive advantage in the digital marketing world, increase brand awareness and strengthen customer relationships, while providing students with the opportunity to be aware of current marketing trends and technological developments. This course focuses on the process of making investment and other relevant social, political, and economic decisions about legal accounting entities, using micro-financial analysis of the financial statements of business organizations, integrated with macroeconomic, sectoral, and industrial analyses.


IFN-429 Investment Analysis

This course introduces students to the credit services of various banks. Country risk, management of corporate funds, capital markets, financial problems and needs of international multinational and transnational corporations.


IFN-423 Blockchain Technology

The course provides an examination of the technological aspects of digital transformation, as well as the market and business aspects, and the policy and regulatory initiatives affecting digitalization processes. This includes examining business processes and services, including network infrastructures, management and processing of data and digital services and applications made available, business models and ecosystems. Additionally, policy initiatives and regulatory measures operating at this point, including EU policies in the region, will be discussed. Thus, after one semester of study, students will be able to understand the impact of digitalization in today's society.


MAN-439 Marketing and Sustainability

The course focuses on four main topics: (i) the meaning of sustainability, the triple bottom line framework and the concept of sustainable marketing and definitions of these concepts (ii) the relationship between sustainability and marketing, (iii) preparing a marketing plan (iv) understanding and experiencing sustainability practices by organizations using a unique 3D digital platform (v) working as a virtual team on an international project. The main emphasis is on an integrated understanding of sustainability issues and how organizations and businesses behave in this regard.


MAN-445 Business Ethics and Social Responsibility

This course aims to provide an in-depth examination and analysis of significant contemporary ethical issues and challenges arising in the professional business world. The course will emphasize the social and environmental responsibilities of managers to a wide range of stakeholders, including employees, customers, and the public. Ethical dilemmas and decision-making frameworks and approaches will be explored at the personal, organizational, and societal levels. Active engagement with real-world applications and issues will be a critical component of the course.


IFN-433 Financial Derivatives Markets

The Financial Derivatives Markets course aims to equip students with an understanding of the fundamental characteristics, operations, and roles of derivatives in financial markets. This course introduces major derivative instruments, such as futures, options, swaps, and forward contracts, and explores their pricing methods, hedging, speculation, and arbitrage. By reinforcing theoretical knowledge with practical examples, students gain the skills to analyze the functioning of derivatives markets, develop investment strategies, and manage financial risks.

In this course, it is aimed for students to be able to form more complex sentences compared to the previous level and to conduct dialogues among themselves in order to express themselves. These skills are reinforced with visual and audio supplementary materials to support the textbook. The goal is to encourage the student to express himself/herself simply in Spanish-speaking environments.


FLR-404 Second Foreign Language IV (Russian)

The Russian IV course aims to advance students' Russian language skills to a high level of proficiency in both oral and written communication. This course focuses on advanced grammatical structures, rich vocabulary and idiomatic expressions, and the analysis of complex texts. Presentations, discussions, article reviews, and projects are conducted to foster effective communication in academic, professional, and cultural contexts. Furthermore, through content on Russian literature, media, and current social issues, students are encouraged to develop a comprehensive linguistic and cultural perspective.

MAN-446 Business Simulation

The Business Simulation course is built around computer-based business simulation. Students taking this course will differ from their peers. Each team must consider different decisions regarding Strategy, Finance, Marketing, Operations, HR/Organization and Research and Development to manage their designated company over a certain period of time.


IFN-460 Entrepreneurship in International Finance

The aim of this course is to inform students about business plan writing, which is one of the most important needs of entrepreneurs. Students will be expected to develop a business idea and do the necessary research to turn this business idea into a business plan and present this research in front of the class.


IFN-462 Internship in International Finance

The course aims to develop the ability to work both independently and in collaboration with others, to integrate prior knowledge of finance and banking and to function in a business environment.


IFN-464 International Finance Project

In this course, a research project will be conducted in the field of International Finance. The student will conduct an individual research project with a faculty member (Research Supervisor) from the Department of International Finance and Banking.  If you are planning to go to graduate or professional school, the experience of conducting a research project will show you what to expect.


MAN-426 Meta Entrepreneurship

Meta-entrepreneurship means creating and managing businesses in virtual reality environments. This course provides students with a comprehensive introduction to business practices in the metaverse and allows them to explore the resources available for meta-entrepreneurs on the Second Life platform. The aim is to develop a holistic understanding of entrepreneurship by equipping students with meta-strategies to create, build and deliver superior value to customers through virtual production.


MAN-452 Artificial Intelligence

The Artificial Intelligence Course offers students the opportunity to understand and apply the processes by which computer systems acquire human-like intelligence and learning capabilities. This course teaches students the basic concepts, algorithms, and applications of artificial intelligence technologies. It also provides students with knowledge on topics such as machine learning, data mining, deep learning, and artificial intelligence ethics. Artificial Intelligence Course provides students with the skills to develop artificial intelligence projects, data analysis, problem solving and understand the applications of artificial intelligence technologies in business and industries. This course aims to educate students as conscious and competent professionals in the field of artificial intelligence, while encouraging the potential to contribute to future technological developments.
