"100th Year Atatürk Memorial Forest Project on the 100th Anniversary of Our Republic"
To commemorate the 100th anniversary of our Republic, the "100th Year Atatürk Memorial Forest" project was jointly carried out by the Mersin Toroslar Municipality Cultural Affairs Directorate and Prof. Dr. Elmas Şahin, a faculty member of the Turkish Language and Literature Department. The project took place on Thursday, November 9. Faculty members and students from the Turkish Language and Literature Department planted saplings in a designated area to create a memorial forest, thereby completing the project.
